Croatia has so many hotels it’s hard to choose. We’ve stayed in many, so we want to share with you some of the very best, like the Bluesun Hotels found across Croatia. Each and everyone has been terrific. Although their dozen hotels all have great things to offer, we’ve narrowed them down to those that take your holidays in Croatia to another level.
Bluesun Hotel Alan, Starigrad Paklenica
Tucked between the Adriatic Sea and the Velebit Mountains is Starigrad Paklenica. That’s where you’ll find Hotel Alan. It’s one of those Bluesun Hotels located smack bang on the beach, the sound of the sea just a few steps away. Soak up some rays or take a dip in the crystal-clear blue waters off the Croatian coast.
Hotel Alan has a lot to offer. They provide a myriad of activities for families – such hings as mountain climbing, children’s entertainment, and, of course, swimming. All make great activities for you and your family to enjoy together. Our own family, for example, loved the photo jeep safari tour they arranged.
Whether you’re traveling solo or with a special someone, you should try out one of their Nordic hiking excursions or perhaps a little rafting. You can always relax together later that evening in the wellness spa that features Velebit aromatherapy. Retire to your room feeling relaxed and refreshed. Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa, Bol
This Bluesun Hotel is stunning. One of Croatia’s elite four-star hotels that are frequented by numerous sports and show business personalities, Hotel Elaphusa offers life in the lap of luxury. Our family loved being so close to Zlatni Rat Beach, a family-friendly 5-minute stroll to and from the beach.
Recreation activities at Bluesun Elaphusa include tennis, indoor golf, and bowling – really, yes, bowling! The nightlife isn’t too bad either; the hotel features a disco and tavern. Hotel Elaphusa is a great place to spend your holiday with beautiful rooms and incredibly comfy beds.
Don’t forget the Thalasso Wellness Center, which is one of the largest wellness spas on the Adriatic coast. A session there will relax and soothe the stresses of the day. If the sea calls your name, you are simply steps away from Zlatni Rat Beach and the Port of Bol. This Bluesun Hotel is top class.

Bluesun Hotel Borak, Bol
If the famous Zlatni Rat Beach in Bol is among your priorities, you will love being conveniently located, 10 minutes away on foot, while staying at this 3-star, family-friendly hotel. With 133 standard rooms, 48 family rooms, and six junior suites, there is bound to be a room type that fits your needs. Beyond the comfortable rooms (some with a sea view!), guests can enjoy a free buffet breakfast, free WiFi, and free parking during their stay.
As the hotel is designed with families in mind. Extra fun for the kids includes an outdoor pool with a children’s area, a playground, and a rich entertainment program. SENTIDO Bluesun Hotel Berulia, Brela
Hotel Berulia is also located right beside the sea (are you sensing a theme here?). In fact, it is steps away from Punta Rata Beach, which made it onto the Forbes Top 10 list of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Furthermore, Forbes ranked Punta Rata as the top beach in Europe.
This sprawling resort property features an outdoor swimming pool, top-notch fitness area, a coffee shop complete with a terrace for sipping your brew at sunset, as well as a restaurant, Puz, which serves tantalizing food. The rooms are appointed in a modern, minimalist fashion, which speaks to the surrounding area’s carefree and simple coastal lifestyle.
You will probably not spend much time in your room, though, as beautiful as it may be, because you will be too busy exploring the manicured grounds and activities this property has to offer.

Bluesun Hotel Marina, Brela

Bluesun Hotel Soline, Brela
The 4-star Bluesun Hotel Soline is the perfect place to stay on the Croatian coast for everyone looking for luxury, a beach location, and all-around sophistication. The crystal-clear Adriatic Sea, fragrant pine woods, and magnificent architecture make up the backdrop for a vacation filled with sunshine, fun activities, and fantastic food.
This hotel is 10 meters from the gently lapping waves and a well-equipped beach with outdoor showers and lounges. If you don’t like salty hair, you can also swim at the outdoor pool, which has a pool bar and a large terrace. Additionally, There’s also an indoor pool with an artificial cave. Other excellent facilities range from a hotel restaurant and seaside wine bar to a huge wellness area and spa, complete with a bio-sauna, Turkish baths, Finnish sauna, whirlpool, and a relax zone.
Bluesun Hotel Kaj, Marija Bistrica
This is one of the finest hotels in Marija Bistrica. Beautifully appointed plush furniture makes a statement in the lobby, with rooms to match. Hotel Kaj is a real gem.
This property is so opulent that people hold their weddings and receptions there. Their wellness spa the best in the area, featuring aromatherapy and a few different types of massage packages that are sure to please. The on-site restaurants, Bistrica and Academia, serve traditional Croatian food with a modern twist. You can also purchase a gourmet tasting plate or be tantalized by their many offerings from the wine boutique. Hotel Kaj is also a great place to host conferences with many large-sized meeting rooms and well-appointed technologies.
Perhaps the most beautiful part about Hotel Kaj is that it lies right in the heart of Marija Bistrica. As such, you can walk to all the local tourist attractions.

Bluesun Hotel Alga, Tučepi
Set just behind a beautiful pebble beach in Tučepi, Hotel Alga is yet another one of those fantastic Bluesun hotels in Croatia. Boasting four stars, it’s an ideal place for both active and relaxed holidays. Sports enthusiasts can exercise at the nearby basketball, football (soccer), and tennis courts, while visitors looking for a passive vacation can spend time at the beach or by the pool.
Signature cocktails can be enjoyed at the Hygge Bar, and Clemente’s Pub serves burgers and beer. If you’re after typical Dalmatian cuisine, you should visit nearby Kaštelet, an a la carte restaurant. Families with young kids will certainly enjoy the various seasonal animation and entertainment programs on offer.

Bluesun Hotel Amor, Supetar
Blessed with a convenient location merely 10 minutes from the Supetar town center, Hotel Amor is a highly recommended 4-star accommodation on the beautiful Island of Brač. It’s still far enough away to offer ultimate relaxation and an incredible feeling of solitude, though.
Surrounded by lush nature and home to gardens filled with pine trees, lavender, and rosemary, it’s a superb place for beach vacations. More than 16,000 Mediterranean plants are on the property, which is regarded as one of the most scenic on the island. Additionally, the hotel restaurant doesn’t buy vegetables, but they’re grown right there on the grounds. It’s the ultimate farm-to-table experience. They also make their own jams, olive oils and bake their own bread, cakes, and pastries.
The building itself features a modern design, a combination of stone, wood, and glass. It’s suitable for virtually all travelers, from families with kids to couples and honeymooners to groups of friends.
