Hey hey my bf and I have been cycling Europe starting in London since July. We have read and enjoy your blog and will be cycling into Croatia from Hungary today. We are keen to explore inland before doing the usual coasty trip. Any hot tips for to kiwibums on a budget in Croatia? Freedom camping, hidden gems for cyclists, all that jazz. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
After several years of teasing you, I think we’re finally agreed to come next summer. Of course I know the best website to start with planning our holiday (CTD of course!) but wondering if you had city/region rec for two families, total of 8 persons to rent a villa. We want beach, hope to charter a boat for a day or so, etc. I don’t know where to start looking and would appreciate your expert advice!
Thank you for emphasizing how Croatia is a beautiful place. I have been there many times but still I am in awe every time I go visit. I explore something new each time. We love staying in Biograd. It is on the water and wonderful.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM Hotel Villa Žarko and its owner Božidar Miolin in Kaštel Lukšić (Split), Croatia. They are DISHONEST, UNETHICAL and CHEATERS. If you have the option of staying at another hotel, I strongly recommend that you go to the other hotel. This hotel is only interested in your money and not your experience. Hotel Villa Žarko is the last hotel you should ever consider. They are CROOKS. Don’t take any chances.
