  1. I’m going to Zagreb this summer – my friend is staying there for a semester during her studies. I’m gonna take the flight from Poland where I live in, but probably I’m gonna have to choose some other flight destination than Zagreb – there is nothing direct from my city. But there are many buses, so that’s how I’ll reach my destination :) Cool article, great tips!

  2. Thank you for this information. What site do we use to book the train from Zagreb to Split. I checked rail Europe and the price was about 69 to 99( depending on first and second class). 4. We just did Zagreb to Split by train, 5:9.22
The schedule was 15.20 arriving 21.30, so about 6 hours. In fact it was an additional 45 mins … and by all accounts it is frequently late !

It is only 2 coaches long and was full … really best to book seats I suggest. There is no catering on board , so take your own …. and it is truly slow !!

On the positive side , we booked online in advance and it was only 115 kuna (single) , about £10 / € 12 !!

Where else can you get a scenic 6-7 hour train ride for £10 !!
