This is the ideal outdoor adventure campsite for families located close to Krk Old Town. The site is right on the beach and includes a children’s playground, a heated outdoor pool, and lots of sports activities on site. This is an eco-campsite, so everything is focused on being outdoors in nature. It’s certainly one of the most noteworthy family-friendly places to stay in Croatia. Ideal for families!

In August 2018, we stayed here in one of the mobile homes as we are not campers, and we LOVED IT!

There are tennis courts with night lights for evening matches, mini-golf, table tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, as well as a children’s pool. If you want some peace and quiet, you can make use of the babysitting service. Still, the Campground Piazza also has lots of stuff to enjoy together with the family, including restaurants, a bakery, shops, and small markets.

There are several kids’ clubs, depending on your children’s ages, including the Maro Children’s Club and the Teen’s Club, which has a Nintendo Wii. If your kids love arts and crafts, send them to the Hobby Club for some artistic fun. There is also live music, movie nights, and lots of evening entertainment for every family member. We particularly loved the disco.

The hotel is large and surrounded by pine trees, which means a lot of shade as it runs down to the beach. There are also swimming pools and waterfalls,’ as well as two which are dedicated to children only. There are lifeguards on the beach for extra safety and peace of mind.

Several restaurants are on site and a separate dedicated area for parents to prepare meals and food for babies and young children. All restaurants have kids menus and buffet-style dining.

There are several Kids Clubs, all of which offer complimentary snacks and soft drinks for the little ones or teenagers. There are also playrooms for the younger children, video games and table tennis, and football for teens. Evening entertainment is plentiful.
